Visit the RebelTrader blog Messages Cheat Fixed + New High Score Possible! June 11. 2005 Player 'arkady' found a cheat to the game and he was honest enough to report it and help us fix it. Unfortunately the cheat resulted in some entries to the "Hall of Fame" being deleted, so we had to use some old scores to fill up the list. The top 3 positions were rescued and are correct. This work resulted in us finding an elusive bug. Some players reported of an error when their score passed 2 billion. We couldn't find the problem in the code, but now it turns out that the database was the cause of the problem. This has now been fixed so we hope to see some 2 billion+ scores on the list soon! We also changed the Shipyard so that it is easier to buy many extra cargo bays. For example you can now select to buy 500 new cargo bays all at once instead of having to buy 25 cargo bays 20 times.
